歡迎 外籍冰球好手 加盟中華冰球聯盟聯賽！ International Players Signing up for CIHL

經由傑夫教練 ( Geoff Le Cren ) 及冰球選秀狀元 莫辛( Steve Mossing )的號召，旅居台灣的外籍冰球好手，已於2004年6月27日，經由選秀及熱身賽，完成分組編隊，正式加入了『中華冰球聯盟』的組織體系活動。

這些分別來自美、加、日本等溫帶國家的外籍朋友，由於從小來自冰球的環境，其冰球的技術的確相當不錯，加上先天高大壯碩的體型，他們加盟中華冰球聯盟，將使得球賽更加提高激烈刺激的精彩可看性。

據中華冰球聯盟負責國際球員的副執行長傑夫表示，在今年9月聯盟正式開賽之前，還將有第二波的外籍冰球好手，經由選秀加盟各球隊。

這些外籍冰球員，有不少已入境隨俗，能夠說流利的台灣國語。而且，他們也相當親切和善，與台灣本土冰球員溝通相處很好。

中華冰球聯盟是繼中華聯棒聯盟，第二個開放國際球員參與的聯賽活動。

With the help of Geoff Le Cren and Steve Mossing, the international players have completed the allocations on June 27, 2004 by the way of try-outs and warm-up games, and officially join the CIHL.

These players from US, Canada and Japan, have very advanced skills, strong ice hockey background and speak fluent Mandarin. They are getting along well with the local players, plus their tall and lofty figures, the games are expectedly to be much more exciting and intense.

According to CIHL Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Geoff Le Cren, there had been several international players signing up for the second try-outs prior to the opening game.

CIHL is the second league in Taiwan open for international players, succeeding after Chinese Professional Baseball League.
