暴龍、犀牛逼和 / 老虎痛擊猛熊

原本有望在本季開胡的暴龍隊第三節夢碎，Tommy Sullivan全場兩得分一助攻的全能表現，外加第三節一記超前比分進球，最後全成泡影，犀牛隊Mark
Paas終場前7分29秒射進一球將比分追平，全隊合力守住暴龍最後反撲，兩隊以3-3握手言和，寫下本季冰球聯盟第一場和局紀錄；老虎隊則是靠著第三節猛灌四分，終場6-2氣走猛熊，也破了猛熊隊不敗之身，老虎、猛熊以二勝一負並列四隊之首。

Turner還在比賽中上演全武行，可以想見雙方求勝慾望之強烈，前兩節戰成2-2平手局面，第三節11：55秒時，Tommy
Sullivan一記漂亮進球為暴龍隊取得超前，全隊士氣大振，不料優勢僅維持四分鐘即被犀牛攻破球門，未能拿下本季首勝。
二連勝的猛熊面對後勢看漲的老虎隊先盛後衰，前兩節雖以2-2打平，但猛熊明顯掌握大部分攻勢，老虎隊第三節有如神助Steve
Clarke連續飆進兩分、隨後小將游凱文再補上一記穿越球，一口氣拉開比分，總記老虎隊單節射進四球，反觀猛熊隊分數被超前後進攻略顯急燥，未能將分數追近，就以這四分飲恨。
Raptors vs. Rhinos, 3-3
The matches on Sunday night saw two streaks
come to an end. The Bears had their winning streak broke
and the Raptors were able to scratch out their first point
of the season. In the first game the Raptors pulled
ahead by two, with Paul Bray tallying his first of the year
and Tommy Sullivan adding one to end the first period up
by two goals. The Rhinos were unable to create any chances
in the first period and only marking two shots on goal.
With the Rhinos scoring the only goal in the second period,
that made for an exciting third period. The Rhinos were
able to even the score at two on a slap-shot from Marcus
Maidment from the blue line that fooled Raptors keeper Jeff
Redl. Sullivan scored with eight minutes
remaining to put the Raptors up by one, only to have Mark
Paas of the Rhinos reply, with his second of the night and
a great individual effort, one minute later. Five minutes
of stop-time at the end of the third was unable to solve
the dead-lock, ending the game three all.
Tigers vs. Bears, 6-2
The next game featured the Bears and the Tigers. The Bears
were hoping to increase their lead in the standing, only
to have their hopes snuffed out by the hard fighting Tigers.
In the first, the teams traded goals; two by Chris August
for the Bears and one by each Paul McIssac and Steve Clarke.
Then after a scoreless second period the Tigers broke out
of their cage and fed on the often confused and tired looking
Bears. Clarke was able to complete his hat-trick with just
over seven minutes remaining in the match to put the Tigers
up 4-2. The Tigers ran away with the game after that scoring
twice more before the final whistle. The Final was 6-2.
Both Clake (3g 1a) and Mark Gaulthier (4a) had a four point
night for the Tigers.
