Dear Friends,
As you know the 2005 IIHF InLine World Championship will
take place in Kuopio, Finland from 9th July (arrival) to
17th July (departure). The
organizer plans an opening game on 9th July so for the two
teams involved, it is foreseen that they will arrive on
8th July.
Invited to take part are the following nations in accordance
with the final standings of the 2004 IIHF InLine World Championships:
AUS, AUT, BRA, CZE, FIN, GBR, GER, HUN, JPN, SLO, SVK, SWE,
USA
The following countries will be invited as winners of the
InLine hockey qualification rounds:
TPE winner of the 2004 Far East Qualification
NAM winner of the 2005 African Qualification
The qualification system adopted by the InLine Hockey Committee
requires that the last empty spot is filled in (as there
were no applicants for an
open tournament) by the team ranked 14th after the 2004
IIHF InLine World Championship.
